Compendium of Curiosities #32

We’re starting to wind down our journey through Tim Holtz’s excellent Compendium of Curiosities over at Linda’s, and this week, the technique is “inking and stamping masks.”  I knew we’d get to this one eventually, so I purchased the blank mask material a few weeks ago.  I really enjoyed making a custom mask and imagine I’ll be doing a lot more of these!

The stamp is from Enchanted Ink; I bought it at a convention a few years ago.  I did the background with Worn Lipstick and Broken China inks and the subsequent layer with Peeled Paint.  Naturally there are Stickles galore as well!

This is utterly magical, Lisa! What a beautiful stamp, and your masking is absolutely perfect! I love the mix of colors, and the sweet little flowers are perfect with those subtle tones in the masked image. Magnificent job, my dear!
