I tried, I really did. I sat down to write a story about happy fairies in a Happy Fairy Place; you know, to offset all the tragic stories that are currently filling my sketchbook. Alas, even Tingly-Wingly-Pixie-Wixie Land* has its share of problems. Poor King Bruneau. What will become of his empire when there are no subjects left to pay taxes? Those dragonfly carts aren’t going to wash themselves, you know!

I have been looking at your sketchbook. It is wonderful! Honestly, it looks like a professionally created book. I am SO impressed!
