Compendium of Curiosities #17

At last another challenge is here, and we get to play with Fragments again!  For those of you following along, we’re on page 64 of Tim Holtz’s wonderful book, Compendium of Curiosities.

I took the opportunity to cover a “ruined” tag from an earlier challenge with some of Tim’s cool vintage paper.  I had found an Artchix image of a cat that fit perfectly in one of the oval fragment charms, and the alphabet paper, featuring “C for cat,” made a great background.

Additional elements are tissue tape, a rubber-stamped flourish, strips of brown cardstock and a snippet of black waxed linen thread to tie the charm onto the tag.

Lisa, I am smiling from ear to ear, looking at your wonderful tag! The kitty charm is adorable! And, you did a great job with the background, too. The papers and text are fabulous, and the tissue tape is beautifully utilized. As an avowed “cat lady,” I sincerely love this!
