I’m in three ATC swaps that are due the first of November, so it’s high time I got to work! Today I finished up a swap called “Update Your Profile.” On the ATCs for All site, every member has a profile in which they mention what themes, colors and styles they prefer. In this swap, we were (secretly) assigned three partners and have to make a card for each based on their preferences. Lots of participants have uploaded pictures of their cards and we’re all having a great time guessing who they might be for!
My first partner likes cats, dahlias, vintage and redheads, among other things.
My second partner loves dragons. I mixed acrylic paint with molding paste, smeared it on the card, embedded the elements and drew “scales” with a stylus.
My third partner likes whimsical cats, numbers and the colors pink & red.
I also made a card for the hostess, who is into monochromatic blue, Egyptian themes and “putting wings where they don’t belong.” (Gotta love her, don’cha?)
Yes, I did manage to get some bling onto every card. (It just wouldn’t be right otherwise.)
