Witch’s Brew

So, as Halloween approaches (one of my favorite holidays), I’ve joined a couple of related swaps.  And since I’m all into the decorated composition books lately, I decided to make one with a Halloween theme for one of my swap partners.  (Which one?  It doesn’t matter; I’ll make another one eventually.  These are too much fun!)

Ever since I finally opened my jar of molding paste for the Mind Wide Open challenge, it’s been calling me to play with it again.  “Play with me again!” it calls.  (Alas, the molding paste has no “mute” button.)

This time I mixed the paste with black paint, swirled it along the top edge and embedded a little Halloween necklace.  I love this stuff!  It’s like decorative cement. 🙂

How cute is that bat ribbon?  I found it at Michael’s and I’m pretty sure I’m going to need at least one more roll.
