I joined two Easter themed swaps lately; in the first, we’re to fill a basket with at least six items, one each from categories such as glittery, pastel, stuffed, bunny, chocolately, etc. I found this basket with its chick design at the thrift store; it was in brand-new condition and still had a $7.99 price tag on it. Not too shabby for two bucks! (I love the thrift store.)
I added sheer aqua ribbon and a layered flower to give it some pizzazz and filled it with fun stuff I hope my partner really likes.

The second swap was really enjoyable; we were to fill six plastic eggs with fun little items and send them in an “Eastery” container. I found this beautiful basket and the glittery bunny ornament at Joann’s. After the eggs were filled, I decorated them with punched silver and gold flowers with Stickles dots in the centers.
The pinkness! The glitter! The sweet gingham bows! It’s so adorable I can hardly stand it.

Seriously; the cuteness of this is almost killing me. (And I was already in serious condition from having viewed Memebon at least a dozen times.)

OMG, Memebon is too cute for words – honestly, when are you getting one? Soon I hope! And of course you’ll bring her to visit me, yes?
LOVE the baskets! I’m gathering goodies for Easter swaps myself, but haven’t come across the perfect basket yet. They are both decorated so nicely! Love em!
Hey, you could put a tiny kitten in an Easter basket! Just sayin.

OH! I LOVE these, Lisa! The arty side of me isn’t cute at all, but my crafty side just overflows with cuteness, and you have captured my heart with these!! I’m in the midst of an Easter swap too, and while I really hate mass-producing things (I have to make 20 eggs), I’m just in heaven with the cute and precious vintage images and lots and lots of snowy glitter! It made me remember how my eyes couldn’t get enough of this when I was little! Your baskets are wonderful!! You’ll have happy happy recipients!!

Now I’m in cuteness overload for certain!! I just clicked on your link and saw Memebon–I was prepared for a cute kitty…all kitties are cute…but there are no words for how adorable that kitten is!!!! I’ve bookmarked that page to my favorites. It will be impossible to ever have a bad day with that kitten to look at!
